Stop Calling me!!!
These people are monitored by the number of calls they make.I mearly assist them by thanking them, asking for a call-back number and remind them that I am on the do-not-call list.BUT I really like the air horn.heh heh
if you state to a human caller that 'you have called a business, do you realize this?' they can't get off the phone quick enough....ICC fines them 2500 bucks per occurance. no hope appealing either, computer records show your number and you state you didn't want to receive calls from them. I have done this for years and rarely get a call. I do enjoy the ones claiming they are raising money for the state police....those are fun to talk to and trap.
Heidi evilly snickering.......
telezapper for recorded drives work great I am told. wonder if they can play that theme from ET......

Your going about it all wrong. Talk to them. Keep them on the phone as long as possible. Get them to explain what they are wanting several times. have fun with them. Ask them how to get w hole lot of blood out of a white carpet. A whole lot, like 6 quarts.
when asked for the man of the house(that's sexist is it?) i have handed the phone to my 5 year old son. that's always fun.
or have you wife screaming and cursing at you in the background. things like, i'll kill you if you beat me again, how could you sleep with my sister......
we have a great time if the children arent around.

Heres a site with info on that number http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-781-0411
I signed up on the donotcall list and dont get many calls anymore but when I did the smoke alarm test button was fun.
I would hold the phone up to the alarm and push the button for a couple seconds and if they were still there after that I would tell them "annoying isnt it, so is getting stupid calls when Im trying to sleep" (third shifter).

The telezapper works great. You get used to that noise it makes when you first pick the phone up. I'm going to put mine back on since the DoNotCallList doesn't seem to work anymore....
THAT'S how to deal with a Tele-pest.

Sounds like something I would do
In Kentucky, for several years, we have had a "No Call" list that is very effective.
Being on that list has eliminated probably 90% of the un-wanted calls.
One aggravating loop-hole is that "surveys", so-called non-profit organizations seeking donations, and the like, are exempt and can still call.
Just on principle, I will not donate to any organization that is un-mannerly enough to interupt my privacy by calling.
Another annoyance to businesses is that, for reasons known only to whoever oversees the no-call list, business phones cannot join the list; thus, since these creeps can no longer call homes, they have tripled up on calling businesses.
Also, during election time, we are bombarded by computer-dialed recordings begging for votes.
I am sure to remember which candidates annoyed me with those calls and VOTE AGAINST THEM.
