Stop All Logging!!!!

On my way to work at 0 dark thirty today I hit a spotted owl. I know it was commiting suicide due to its loss of old growth timber on the Oregon Coast. We Must Stop all Logging and Start being in tune with the woodland creatures big and small. We need to Hug trees not kill them.
It was so Sad that this Poor Creature had no choice left but to impact my windshield at 55 MPH. But it did have good taste in Trucks.

Earth First.. We will Log the other planets later!!!

P.S. anyone got a good Owl Stew Recipe

Recipe:

1 very large pot, filled with water.

Start a big bon fire to heat the pot.

Better scratch that a fire would require wood.

Just eat it raw, it's better for the trees

I saw a bumper sticker that read " If you don't want to cut trees, try wiping with plastic".
There are a lot of paper products that waste trees and news papers are one of them in my opinion.
Enjoy the stew.

Use natural gas...it's a cleaner burning fuel!!

We have protected "Marsh Bunnies" and some kind of endangered butterfly down here ...

The environmental folks send out emails all the time urging people to call them when we see one hurt or in an area where they could be messed with. Often times I take my lunch down by the flight line and watch the bald eagles snag up a couple of the endangered bunnies to feed their babies. Hey ... it's cheap entertainment

We got some very rare species down here;
Kangaroo rats, dune lizards, sage bushes, oak trees, conservatives, etc...

I got kicked out of Environmental Science class once for hatching an idea to save the bald eagle by killing the panda... But that's another story.

A few ducks ate some lead shot so now everybody has to use steel shot. Doesn't go as far or penetrate as well and wounds more than it kills. But hey! Now we don't worry about those two ducks getting lead poisoning.

Honestly the Spotted Owl is an Endangered Species!!!

It is breeding with other species of owls and so there are fewer and fewer of the pure bloodline. So to fix that we must stop logging the old growth forests where no owl food lives as it is too dark and barren)

Kind of like here the state game and fish dept is killing off some Japanese deer so they don't "pollute" the gene pool of the native species of deer. (Inbreeding is the preferred method apparently.)
