Those of you who have been here for a while remember back in 2003 when my family went through my mother's sickness and death. Well, I made sure to mention her in this one, so I thought I would post it in honor of her.

I found some pictures the other day of some of the things she covered at her job. Wow, she had been through a lot. I also have to say that the guys I work with are phenominal. I don't know how to explain it, but I trust my life to those folks.

I know some folks here don't like police, but the good majority of them are out there to do what's right.

 

And I'm sure that she would be extremely proud of you and glad that you chose the career path that you did. It is a great way to honor the love of your mother.

Jack, that is a very moving story...
I know I could speak for most of the fathers on here, that we hope to inspire our children as your mom inspired you, and that is quite the testament to her that you feel that way.
I am sure she is looking down , beaming with pride at what her baby has become......
