SRT-10 Fuel Mileage

First, I know this is the wrong forum but I hang out here the most and I know more people on this forum....

I know there are a couple of guys on the site that have them but I can't remember their names. Does anyone know what kind of mileage you can expect to see on the highway?

I found a yellow fever edition to match my truck and Im thinking HARD about it.

Thanks in advance.

You can move it if you feel the need...

Lucas

Ahhhhh, I see you want something slow and comfy to go along w/ your Bad Edit Race truck. That'd be cool!!

LOL. It would look pretty sweet on a trailer behind the diesel

I've read reviews and I'm getting mixed results. Some say 10 some say as much as 17??? I guess thats right along the lines of what's expected out of them. It probably just depends on how you drive it. I would get gallons per mile

Whats the point if it can't outrun the tow vehicle. My 2003 Hemi truck averaged about 10.5 city and 14 highway. So I don't think the V-10 is going to be much better.

BTW: If you get a good deal on the SRT-10 and have left over disposable cash I am taking MOD donations and will advertise your favorite charity on the truck when in competition.

The problem is I don't have any disposable cash The only thing I have going for me is I'm still young and living at home so I would like to get the rest of my toys paid for before I buy the farm.... If you haven't noticed yellow is my favorite color and 05 will probably be the only year for the color in the pickup so heres my chance to get both trucks. It wouldn't be as fast as the tow vehichle in stock form but with some $$ it would smoke the diesel. My problem is, I have always had the wants and now I get the chance to buy stuff...lol

I heard the Viper only gets high teens on the highway so I highly doubt a truck would get close to that. My guess is around 10-12 max. And why doesn't Dodge make the quad cab srt-10 with a manual???? That's like putting an auto in a viper or vette.

I have seen them run anywhere from 12.8 to 13.5 at sea level depending on the driver. Those were stock, one with just over 500 miles on it. They seem to have a hard time hooking up.
