I sure had that game all wrong. Before the game I thought OU would win by the score 51-3.

 

Coach got confused and sent the Womens Field Hockey team instead of the Football team... ;D

 

Where was their twelfth man?? They could have used him!

Wondered what will happen at Tech, probably a similar game but probably not a big ZERO,, OUch!!

They might score 77 on us (Tech) but there's no way they're leaving town with a 0 on our side of the scoreboard. Can't remember the score off hand, but we beat A&M something like 60-10, so in compareing Tech to A&M, might as well compare Tech to the Aggie women's field hockey team. Gotta play t.u. this week, and I'd much much rather beat t.u. than Oklahoma. Hate those t-sips. >

I'll admit it....although I think "whooping" is an understatement. : Regarding Coach Fran, are you Bama guys still upset that he left that no name place to go to a REAL school?? Come one....what'd you expect??

He's not going anywhere...at least not for 3 years. If he hasn't turned things around in 3 years then I think he'll be out. Right now we're all just giving him the benefit of the doubt.

That's what I thought too....but the game went on and on and on and our side of the scoreboard never changed. : I don't think anyone can beat OU right now.

Now....t.u.....they're DEFINITELY beatable.

By the way....I believe it was 59-28, not 60-10.

 

I'm fairly positive that we're not going to beat OU, just don't think it will be that ugly. We've got the most offensive yards in the nation. Like I said earlier, If we beat t.u., I don't care what happens with OU. I don't have to put up with any sooners around here, thank God. It's bad enough with all the t-sips.

 

I hope you're right...on both accounts.

I would love nothing more than for t.u. to get beat by Tech next week and then get beat by A&M the following week. Will it happen? Probably not...but a guy can wish can't he?? ;D

 

I will also admit we got our butts kicked. It seems like I was watching a little league game when they let the clock run in the 4th qtr when an incomplete pass was thrown. I have to keep telling myself that this is Fran's rebuilding season; but I don’t think we have less talent than last season and it seems like Slocum was able to do a whole lot more with it. :- :- Its gonna be a LONG day at work today. :-[
