Post So this is shock.

He was my Brother

It was just Sunday morning at 3:33 A.M. I got an intelligible call Ill never forget from my mom telling me that my brother was just killed by a drunk driver.

He was on his way to work @11:20 P.M. driving down a street we had all gone down hundreds of times when a stupid drunk and drugged out punk 22 year old ran a RED light and slammed into my brothers car broadside in the drivers door as he was crossing the intersection on a GREEN light, the impact slammed his car into another car next to him.

CHP had said that the paramedics had worked on him for about 30 minuets at the scene so unfortunately I am afraid he did suffer.

CHP had said he was in no condition to be behind the wheel because he was so out of it.

I still cannot believe he is not here anymore while this piece of scum sits in jail breathing air.

He has certainly destroyed many people’s lives and it only took an instant.
I am sure he is in a better place but I want him here.

Jim

I am truly sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayer go out to you and your family. I only wish that it was like the old west "an eye for an eye". This type of thing happens WAY to often and the government should start thinking about capitol punishment for such crimes. If you decide to get behind the wheel in that type of condition it should be considered "pre meditated". Again my deepest sympathy in your time of loss.

Condolences and Prayers for you and your family.

There is NO excuse for Drinking and driving. Cars and trucks are bigger, faster than they used to be. It ain't like the old days. I hope the judicial system is used to the fullest potential even though it will not replace your loss.

This is by no means any consolation, but your brother most likely did not suffer very much. The body releases chemicals to combat sudden trauma, and with medics working him I have no doubt they were pushing meds to help him.

I am truly sorry for your loss, my condolences to you and your family.

You and your family will be in my prayers,

Tim
