Well never thought this would happen but, I did smoke all 6 tires at once trying to pull out a pine tree stump Anyone have any idea what kind of root system pines have? Anyways I tried, and never even really got on it before I lost traction. I was on asphalt also, so I thought I could give a pretty good tug, but never thought all 6 tires would break loose so easy. need more traction to use the power gotta luv the old cummins!!!!!!

Pine trees have a tap root that runs to China. I usually burn them out or use a dozer.

Well that explains why it wouldn't budge Thanks for the info on the tap root! At least now I won't try that again! Wife is giving me all kinds of crap, (Big Bad Diesel really tore up that stump) Women don't understand, even if you can't pull something you still have to give it a shot and then make up an excuse why you couldn't

Tell her you could have pulled it out, except you'd have an extra 2" of wheelbase if you did

That is what you need a 12,000 pound winch for, best use I have found yet for those things is pulling out trees.

How to fix the wife:
Open Beer.
Hand your wife a shovel.
Finish Beer.
Move to garage untill all clear.
