Rub em around in some burnt motor oil. That, or high-temp grease.

Come on now guys this one is really easy Just wash your hands with some diesel regular or bio it will get the job done no more fishy smell!!

Sounds to me if you use the barrier cream before fishing and the stainless steel afterwards that should work. I have seen chefs use stainless steel to get the onion smell off of their hands.
