That's the thing that worries me about "smart" guns. I want my guns to go bang when the trigger is pulled, period. It's why I'm partial to revolvers.

Nope. I look over my defense rounds pretty carefully before I load my carry gun to prevent that sort of thing from happening though.

Good for you!!.... Having spent a career switching off between carrying an auto and a wheel gun, I learned that either can fail you (thats why I always carried a back-up as well). I had a high primer hang me early in my career during a wheel gun competition shoot. After that, I got religous about pencil checking my firing pins, as well as cycling the duty ammo through the weapon, on both my auto AND wheel gun, before every shift.
