Slide scanner
I have approx. 3000 slides (35mm) that I would like to digitize so that I can download them on my computer. I can take them to a photo shop and have them converted, but with the number of slides that I have it costs a small fortune. There are a number of scanners on the market that would appear to do the job. Any advice from personal experience as to which slide scanner does a good job will be appreciated.

I have the HP PhotoSmart S20
It will scans slides at 2400DPI
Easy to use and great results.
