Not good. Dare I ask how?

Left CA last week it was 70f. Lucked out and had 5 days of sun in Seattle--left before the rain hit.
Got home and it was -19f.
Whaaaaaaaa. Its nice to be home but it sucks just the same.
Main thing is I have not lost the ability to complain, snivel and whine. In fact I may be better at it now than I was two months ago.
Windows wants to download 44 updates so I think I will let it and come back later.
While you have not lost your abilities we may have found the ability to ignore you................... OK, maybe we like you enough not to ignore you.

This year, these temps are starting to feel almost chilly. Getting soft I suppose. Otherwise things are much as normal form. Snow, firewood, broken machines... the dance goes on. Following an endless trail of broken junk through life. Might be a song in there somewhere. ( as long as it doesn't start with " my junk's broke", that would be bad )

Drivers are reaching new lows every day. If they aren't distracted, they're just dumb. ( can't think of any other reasonable excuse) People wait until it gets icy, then make a game of cutting each other off, or just driving like mental midgets. Then there are truckers, ooooooboyohboyohboyohboy. Man, I miss the old-timers, who could not only drive, but do minor repairs as well. Ever done an 8 hour road trip to clamp off the line to a leaking airbag. ugh.

Oh well, all is good. found this the other day, makes perfect sense to me.

Have a good one folks
If it weren't for broke junk I'd have no junk at all. Gloom, disrepair and agony on me. Sorry about the broken stuff though. Sometimes I get into what I call a maintenance cycle. It doesn't matter what I touch it's sure to break or go to crap. I feel for you.

A lot of other things DO change however. Like how I can look around the town square amongst 1000 people and not know even one of them. 20 years ago it would have been like a big reunion. 'Course, SOME people you will always know!
That sure was nice of Jake to take you to a parade and sleep on the cold concrete while you sit there yapping in your insulated clothes.

I haven't been productive at all today. I can't find a $14 receipt I need to turn in for reimbursement and none of us can get our hotel receipts until the morning so we can't finish our submittals until tomorrow. I did finally discover how to correct the problem I was having with Adobe Acrobat that the tech department of Adobe has not been able to, twice. I'm pretty ticked about that!

Nice to see everybody tonight.

Trad, travel claims are such a pain. So was the $14 lunch good?

Ok, taking the trash out and going to bed. The Cowboys won tonight Yay. Barely. They almost ruined a perfectly good lead...with less than a minute in the game. Ahh Cowboys...

Yall have a good night.

Not at all. The money was for a CDL log book and first truck weight on the Cat scale. I have the ticket for the reweigh, $2. Guess I just donated that.

Morning everyone!! Glad to hear everyone is doing well......except for Mr. 06 who blew his front wheel bearing....that sucks man, hate to hear it but we do pay to play.....ask me how I know?

Been neglecting a few things around the house the last couple weeks while I was repairing my truck.....which by the way, is looking and running AWESOME.....except for the coat of dirty on her skin which needs to be washed off. Gotta get out there this week and get everything done while we have some 80* weather.

Pind.....reading your post about your temps sent chills through my bones.....that kind of weather ain't even right....us fair weather Texans would catch our deaths up there......think I'll stay put where I'm at.

Everyone have a great day.

Morning yall..or happy lunch...whatever :P

Got some errands done. About to start doing Christmas cards to get them gone. After that, pulling Christmas boxes off the garage shelf. Anyone wanna help me put lights up? You think that is an adventure with two people, come over and watch this tripod try to do it alone I looked for a little Christmas tree too. I want a live one but a 3'er. Can't deal with the big one and I want Christmas smell in my house instead of the garagey dust of our fake tree.

Ok, hopin' your Monday is moving along like goose poop on a hot day.

-8*c this morning, a little snow and me in my RWD, going to work where there´s free coffee, what´s not to like

The weatherguys talk about more snow in the next days, I better get moving a little early so I don´t have to get all stressed up...(like that´s going to happen)

Was at my granddads birthday party yesterday, he turned 97.
He ain´t moving very fast anymore, but he can still speak for himself, and he will Don´t ask him anything if you don´t wanna hear the answer.

Hey Shrew Boy - - glad to see you made the trip in one piece. Hope the varmints didn't eat everything in your house - - bet you missed them. I hear it is still nice and warm up there - - neat. Sounds like maybe I should run on up and we could go swimming in the sound. Yeh, I'll get right on that. .....

Horrible day down here - - soooo hot. Lanai was wonderful for a quick nappy poo (which I never do in the afternoon), got a lot done though - - starting to stretch it out a bit on this LEGG. Didn't do it any good Saturday crawling around under my bushes, but we are coming along. Now if I could just get it to stop swelling up I would be happy.

OK, enough - - more ph00 - - .....

Bob, getting the leg to stop swelling throughout the day is easy. All you have to do is walk on your hands.

Afternoon folks. It seems like coffee time around here.

Admiral just got home from the doctor. One knee's been giving her fits for years. Came to the point where the only thing left to try is a total knee replacement.

Going to visit the Surgeon on Wednesday. We're a bit apprehensive, but hope it works out well.

Glad we don't live in Canada, or here a few years from now as Obamacare gets in full force.

In most of the recent pictures of Jake it almost seems like Jake is embarrassed to be seen with "his master". Perhaps a haircut, shave and shower are needed (not for Jake).

Howdy! No critters that I have seen yet.
Had a dream the first night back that everytime I tried going into one of the downstairs bedrooms something big would push the door back closed.
I havent looked in them yet. I am not afraid, I just dont have any reason to go in there.
We have company coming next week. They can deal with it.

That seems to be the general theme lately. Had our annual fire department gathering tonight and it seems that 30 years with the department doesn't even get recognized anymore. And the nearly 5 million in grant money we've brought in is miniscule in comparison to the Deputy's 3 months of 'grueling work' to acquire a $100,000 grant for radio regionalization.

Yeah, I'm in a rotten mood. Does it show?

Buck up, big guy. We missed ya. I had to make the coffee too much. You're back so get to work - - no time for feeling sorry for yourself. .........Life definitely does not seem too fair sometimes. Guess what - - 50 years from now you could care less other than trying to make a better world for the younger ones who will be here when we are gone. Scares me.

J - - my mom had two knee replacements - - she did amazingly well with them. They have it down pretty good now. Her last one was done way too late - - her leg had deteriorated to the point they used a different style - - it was a hinge for a better way to describe it. Worked great and certainly backed off the pain for her.

OK, shutting this thing down for the night and go spend some time with the blonde before she throws something at me - - and I am moving too slow to duck very hard. See ya morry,

Bob

Its the squeaky wheel getting the grease. You need to start making some noise.

Speaking of noise. We just had a 5.9 earthquake a little while ago.

I hate them. Ya never know if its going to keep getting worse. Glad I dont have any booze or I would be having a drink right now.
