Man, already 9am and still in the old room?? Ok, I found the keys to this shack. Coffee is hot and I ordered pugs in a blanket.

Come on it. Oh, do watch out, the cold weather has brought the shrews back in.

It seems my coffee is weak this morning

Besides any breakroom can have pigs in a blanket. I probably should put a warning sign on our door to the pugs out there, enter at your own risk.

Morning JWBM. Get your man to give you a nice hand massage this morning.

And why didn't you lock the old one? (since you found the keys) I had to nail the door shut and all I had was used nails. I sure hope it holds.

Morning Shorts, Tallguy.

Heidi, it wasn't CSI, IOU or DOA, just a woman and her camel.........for a little while........until the crash. They really need seat belts on those things.

Matt, nice to see you back around. Working on a steam unit? That's a departure from modern technology.

Breakfast is out of the way, waffle, 3 boiled eggs, 2 fruit cups and a cup of coffee. Come to think of it, it's time for more coffee.

I though we had west coasters to shut the lights out.

Well folks, just a quick check in before we start the last batch of sausage. Good to see you up and productive T-Rad. Heidi, a day off is acceptable occasionally and I think you are due. Thank goodness we are getting near to the end of the Dalemead Sausage Fest. The breakfast sausage, bratwurst and kielbasa are all vac-packed and in the freezer, all we have left is one small batch of Country Chicken Sausage for my DW's mom. I am just about done with sausage making for this weekend.

Oh yeah, FO, howdly hodly neighbor (in my best Ned Flanders voice).

It is who turns them on is the important part. Anyone can turn your lights off - - takes a really neat person to light you up. ........

Later,

Bob

Annual Christmas parade here in Merrimac today. Some things never change. Parade starts at 1PM so everyone gathers at the fire station at 8AM to hang out until 1.

A lot of other things DO change however. Like how I can look around the town square amongst 1000 people and not know even one of them. 20 years ago it would have been like a big reunion. 'Course, SOME people you will always know!

Ended up destroying a like new hub on my truck.

Wouldn't have been so bad, but I bought it from a dealer.

Glad to see everybody is doing ok. Wish Madhat would come back home where its a little safer.
Left CA last week it was 70f. Lucked out and had 5 days of sun in Seattle--left before the rain hit.
Got home and it was -19f.
Whaaaaaaaa. Its nice to be home but it sucks just the same.
Main thing is I have not lost the ability to complain, snivel and whine. In fact I may be better at it now than I was two months ago.
Windows wants to download 44 updates so I think I will let it and come back later.

slacker sunday huh. warmed up from -41 to a balmy -30 overnight, made -25 this afternoon.

This year, these temps are starting to feel almost chilly. Getting soft I suppose. Otherwise things are much as normal form. Snow, firewood, broken machines... the dance goes on. Following an endless trail of broken junk through life. Might be a song in there somewhere. ( as long as it doesn't start with " my junk's broke", that would be bad )

Drivers are reaching new lows every day. If they aren't distracted, they're just dumb. ( can't think of any other reasonable excuse) People wait until it gets icy, then make a game of cutting each other off, or just driving like mental midgets. Then there are truckers, ooooooboyohboyohboyohboy. Man, I miss the old-timers, who could not only drive, but do minor repairs as well. Ever done an 8 hour road trip to clamp off the line to a leaking airbag. ugh.

Oh well, all is good. found this the other day, makes perfect sense to me.

Have a good one folks
