Silly Hemi

I have my dads Porsche Cayenne Turbo while he is out of town for the month ( he has money I dont). He leaves it with me when he goes out of town so it can be run. I left work early the other day, and some EDIT in a 1500 hemi flys up behind me, pulls along side and gives me the look and takes off. He continues to drive like an EDIT like his hemi is the EDIT. So we get to a red light and I had to do it, I put the 6 speed trans in first, it normally starts in second, but you can put it in first if you really want to get it, and prepared for takeoff. I blew his doors off, and the poor little hemi ducked in behind traffic and didnt want to play anymore. Are these guys really that dumb, hemis arent that fast I had one. For the record if it is a Porsche and it says Turbo on it you may want to leave it alone.

(I wish I had the big dually to blow him away)

My wife has one, and it it is pretty quick for a stock truck. Not that quick. My truck can out run it till about 45. She has something coming when I get the Edge put on...

I have a potty mouth sometimes. I always re-read what I type, I've edited quite a few of my own posts. I'm with you. Sometimes, a good old EDIT EDITER!! makes the story better.

I've caught myself a couple times typing "NO NO" words and had to quick edit them before I hit the submit button. It's just habit

Dont want to change the topic, but driving my dad's work truck one day I was getting on the freeway (with two onramp lanes), and theres a mercedes (a nice one at that) driver who cant make up thier mind and he/she is next to me and accels a little thinking oh yeah this is a big old diesel POC (well it is, its a powerjoke, though some mods). Sure enough I stomed the skinny pedal and I am sure the look on that dimwit's face was priceless.

Oh dont get me wrong there are some very fast diesel trucks, far faster than alot of sports cars, in a 1/4 mile straight line. But the little Hemi boy, just really needs to realize what he was dealing with. And by all means if someone is slacking at their driving, a loud big diesel truck can fix that, and sure is fun.
I just dont know what people are thinking, Im in an suv capable of 165-170mph sustained speed 0-60 in 5 sec, that costs 1/3 what my house did please leave me alone and stay away from it. And he wants to race me in his gas truck?

It is amazing what my almost bone stock 16 year old truck can do sometimes as well, to think of what eveyone elses awesome rigs can do.

Makes me realize something, everyone around here drives thier diesel rigs like grandpas!

My daily driver is a Hemi and honestly I am less than impressed with its gitupandgo -- runs great and gas mileage aint all that bad considering ---but is a little bit of a let down in the skinny pedal response. I can't complain tho cuz it is a company ride and its free including all maintenance and fuel
