I kind of have to wonder how many totally blind people have avoided getting struck by sprinting off when they hear a car?
Really, I think silent cars might be more of a hazard for sighted kids who walk into the street without looking.

I pictured that while eating some spaghetti out of a bowl and now I have a noodle lodged 1/2 way out my nose from the inside
Just keep letting Big Brother protect you from yourselves. Soon our trucks will be too big and cause too much damage to smaller cars in impacts and there will be a "standardized" car for all.
