Warning: Silent Recall 2005 Dodge

Just thought I'd let everyone know.......picked up my 2005 dodge3500 Q-cab on thursday evening. Was in a dealer bay when I drove it out. Smelled some diesel but thought it was fumes. Saturday, pulled into driveway and noticed liquid dripping onto concrete. To make a long story short, after I drove it back to the dealer, found out that the high-pressure side of the fuel pump was squirting diesel all over the engine. This would only occur while under driving conditions and not at a stand still.
Dealer called Chrysler who notified them that they had a watch out for this very problem. Evidentilly there were some bad machining specs for some of the fuel pumps, and they slipped by during assembly. Good thing is that it shows up quickly. If you smell excess diesel or see fluid under the vehicle, thats what is going on. Dealer replaced housing with a new one and all seems to be fine.
