just as the title says... which side of the bed do you sleep on. a bunch of us were playing poker in the garage last night and we got on this topic for some reason. we came up with the conclusion the most of the time men sleep on the left and women on the right because..... they are always right.... and this is as you are laying on the bed.

I always get the right...unless I want the left.

 

I'm a volunteer firefighter and the left side is closer to the bed room door. Always has been that way for some reason. Interesting poll.

 

Depends on the location and the bed. At home I sleep on the right side. At the gf its the left side. And now that I think about it i am also always closest to the door.

now that it has been pointed out i always sleep closest to the door: at the current house, the previous house, my moms house and her parents house.... wierd!!

 

Strange very strange, I never give this any thought before. But I sleep on the left for as long as I can remember.

 

I agree here, It seems as far as I can think back I always remember the 'man' sleeping on the side closest to the door to the bedroom..

sitting up in bed facing the footboard i am on the passenger side. closes to the door.

 

I sleep on the engineers side of the bed ( the right) she's on the firemens side (the left), had to respond in railroad terms! I also sleep on the side closest to the .12 ga.

 

My ole lady sleeps by the wall, I got the tv side.

 

I saw something on TV a while back that said men tend to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door. Some kind of instinctive thing to protect his family....

I go to bed on the right but but am usually wokin up in the middle of the night by the wife telling me to get back on my side of the bed...

 

Guess I'm a crappy husband, because I sleep farther away from the bedroom door... I'm a right side of the bed...
