Shiner Bock.........

After all I've heard here about Shiner Bock brewski, I was browzing the beer isle at my local grocery, and saw Shiner Bock on the shelf....... in NORTHERN Virginia of all places.

5 in the fridge and one in the freezer........
Gonna hafta see if it lives up to the 'hype'.

Mmmmmmmmm Shiner!! That is all I drink now. But it seems like as soon as I leave Texas, I can never find it

I also like Shiner Black when I feel like having a darker beer

I first tried it when I was working in Texas. I asked for St. Paulie Girl at a resturant with my meal. They didn't have any, but the waiter suggested I try a Shiner. I said Huh? What's that? Well, I gave it a try and I think it's a great beer. Doesn't suit all people, but it is one of my favorites.

Can't handle the Shiner Blonde ... but the original, black and the Weisen are all some good stuff.

Cheers,

Then you will love the Black as well. I usually buy a 12 pk of both regular Shiner and Black.

I have a small "dorm" fridge stocked with Bock, Black and Shiner's "101" a Czech Pilsner. I find I keep agonizing over which I should have first...
But I do seem to be drinking up all my "101" sooner than the rest.

I was driving around the NE side of Pittsburgh, PA. (Blawnox) and I did a doubletake! There in the window of a local bar was an unmistakeable "SHINER" sign...
(made me feel pretty good about Texas' Shiner)
