Some of the manuals on EBay are illegal copies.
The one wurkenman got looks odd. It says it covers all models from 96 thru 04. It also says it is a factory manual and is 4000+ pages, but my '05 factory manual alone is well over 8000 pages.

Ya I did not feel comfortable about the one he got so I walked on it but this one seller has stand up references but still don't mean that mines not a stolen copy too
I sure hope not at least its not out in circulation

People here have been trying to promote the free ones Hemi Truck club had posted on their forums. We have been editing those posts for years here telling people that was copy-write protected material and against the law to distribute in that manner.
It seems Hemi Truck Club finally got the word from Chrysler "We received a contact from Chrysler investigators politely asking us to remove them as they are copyrighted."
If they don't end up paying a ton of money and legal fees, they should consider themselves VERY fortunate.

Copyright infringement is a major problem today in this time of technology. It is so simple to burn a copy of a CD or DVD or make a photocopy (I almost said the X word). I spend a good part of my time at work trying to keep all the people I deal with staying within the law. Many of them just need it explained in simple words and then they comply, a few are hard headed.
I've always felt that fabricating anything in support of a cause, any cause, hurts that cause in the end, instead of helping it.
You can quote me on that.
