Note to self; Back over mailbox on next trip out of the driveway!
I'm officially on vacation starting this morning when I got off work at 0800. I have a "Honey-Do" list to last me well over the week I'm off and y'all are going out to play golf,,,,,,,,,, There is NO justice in the world!!

Poor Rattlin! Better not back over the mailbox or that will be one more thing to add to the list.
Surely Mrs. Rattlin would be okay with ya sneekin off to play a round. Does she play?

Mornin, ya'll. Well, actually afternoon. Off to church and some good BBQ. Now, it seems I have to find those paint brushes I hid or someone is not going to be fun. GRRRRR

Be good - - oh well, at least careful.

Evening folks,
Haven't been around much lately. Being the boss is overrated.
Equipment breakdowns, flat tires, contract/site issues, employees.
Sorry for the rant, I need a vacation.
Finally got the dually conversion done on the truck.
Stahl service body installed, painted to match, 6 new wheels,6 Cooper S/T
Will take some pics as soon as I find the camera.
Have a fabulous evenin'
Rich

First weekend for nightshift. Been a long time since I HAD to stay awake at night. Sure does offer opportunities to check in here more often though.

Interviewing for a new job Wed, wish me luck. Would be nice to get back fixing avionics again. Hope the pay offer makes up for the 125 mile a day drive.

Evening everyone.

Was a very nice day here as far as the weather is concerned. High 71* low 49*. Can't beat that.

We had another "open house" today with little response. Selling a house SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I'm starting to think we will never sell this place. After our deal fell through last month it's not looking good for this year. Our house was off the market for a little over a month and now it is almost the end of the real estate season. Looks like next year... I hope.

Oh well.... at least the weather was great!

Have a good week everyone!

Britt

Hey Chris,
Read your post in Hoss's "Ghosts" thread about Quanah Parker. Did a quick google search on him and he looks like an interesting person to read up about. Can you recommend any decent books about him that don't read like a history text book, something that keeps the readers interest?

Thanks,
~Rob

I have returned from my roamings of the Northeast (Arkansas) with sore feet, hurtin knees, and an aching ****. Tired of motels, institutional type food, and driving. Like the 40.5 cents per mile.
Having a cold several and going night-night.
See y'all in the morning.

Hello everyone. Glad many had a good Sunday of leisure. I was up at 0200, hauled 2 loads of diesel 10,000 gals each. Boy those buckets get heavy after awhile & my arms are tired. If I could only have the retain from each load I haul, I'd never have to buy diesel again. Was home by 1200 & the better half & I both have tomarrow off.
