Aaarrrgggghhhh !!!! Tis time to rally about the scuttlebutt, ye scurvy sea dogs !!!

Met up with FOX13 (Daniel) and he took me down to meet some friends of his in Austria for a couple days. These folks really love their Jeeps and Dodges and had we a ball installing a new exhaust system, injectors and a bigger turbo. Ate some of the best food I have had since coming to Europe, drank a few beers and stared in awe of the Austian Alps. Really put me in a good frame of mind !! Daniel is a fine soldier and really knows quite a bit about bombing ... glad I finally got to meet him.

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend ... it was made especially for you.

I'm not sure, but I may resent being called a goob. Haven't been called one before.

Mornin' goobs.
'Nuther nice day in North Texas, high of about 80*.
If I can keep air in my tires, we are going to take the canoe to the lake today as soon as my wife gets it loaded up
Was unhooking my trailer on Friday and found 2 nails in the left rear tire . The Friday before, I found a screw in the right rear .
The discount tire chain that I bought my tires at put 2 plugs in the one with 2 nails yesterday. I told them to put 65 psi in the tire. Checked it about 6 hours later and I had 57 psi. Don't know if the plugs will hold or not. I also don't know if they put 65 psi in. I checked all four tire and had 4 different tire pressures , even though I told them to put 65 psi all the way around. One was 5 psi ABOVE the max recommended pressure If I have to go back to get a replacement tire, I will have to give the manager a piece of my mind (that I can ill afford to lose). Thank God for the road hazzard policy, tire gets replaced free, you just pay for the new hazzard policy.

Have a good one,
~Rob

Hmmm. Low 50's right now, crystal clear blue sky, drinking a cup of coffee. Might have to ride the old girl (Harley) today.

Goob is sort of a standerd term in the Nuke industry. "Take those two goobs with you", or do the work "skill of the goob", and so on.

Shouldn't be a problem, I usually put five over in mine for a long trip.

MMMMM breakfast of pancakes, snausages, n eggs washed down with two cups of coffee.

Wet stuff moved out (finally) and was replaced by temps about 15* lower than previous.
Autumn looks like it has finally arrived.

Heading for the garage to try to put the last couple of adjustments to the Geezer-Glide so's I can hopefully let the truck sit for a few days and save some of that $3.00 a gallon fuel.

Tomorrow isn't a holiday for my company, (but it is for the base where I work), so maybe I'll get some of that paperwork pile shoveled off.

Y'all B safe,

Just 'cuz the Navy "Squids" beat the Air Force "Wing Nuts" yesterday, that's no reason to change the name of the thread..........
