Hi there, just running through, grabbing a cup of whatever this is
Trying to figure what I did to my back, yesterday as I was picking up a wrench from the floor it felt like somebody put a knife in me.
Kinda bummer when I have to work this week, and I work with steelparts for agricultural machinery
Just gotta do the best I can, it'll have to do.

Howdy folks. Rain, rain, rain here today. Just down right dreary all day long. Getting tired of it pretty quick. Two more days of the same mess is forecasted and then nicer weather will return. Time change still has me pretty messed up too.

Ya'll have a good evening. Later.

Morning.

It's Tuesday, November 5th.

1872 - In the U.S., Susan B. Anthony was fined $100 for attempting to vote in the presidential election. She never paid the fine.

1895 - George B. Selden received the first U.S. patent for an automobile. He sold the rights for $200,000 four years later.

1935 - The game "Monopoly" was introduced by Parker Brothers Company.

1940 - U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt won an unprecedented third term in office.

1946 - John F. Kennedy was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives at the age of 29.

1974 - Ella T. Grasso was elected governor of Connecticut. She was the first woman in the U.S. to win a governorship without succeeding her husband.

1998 - Scientists published a genetic study that showed strong evidence that Thomas Jefferson fathered at least one child (Eston Hemings) of his slave, Sally Hemings. (for more information)

1992 - Malice Green, a black motorist, was beaten to death in Detroit during a struggle with police. Two officers were later convicted in his death and sentenced to prison.

1994 - Former U.S. President Reagan announced that he had Alzheimer's disease.

1998 - In the U.S., Chairman Henry Hyde of the Judiciary Committee asked President Clinton to answer 81 questions for the House impeachment inquiry.

1999 - U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson ruled that Microsoft Corp. enjoyed "monopoly power".

2009 - At Fort Hood, near Kileen, TX, Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 people and wounded 30 others.

Today's thought:
Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip.

Coffee & ph00 are ready.

Off to get rid of breakfast!

Good morning all 'yall,
This is just a quick morning driveby to get some OJ and biscuits. I think someone transported me to Bark's home in Alaska overnight. It seemed a bit nippy when I took the dog out to do his business this morning. When I checked the thermometer on the way back into the house it was only 3F!!! For heaven's sake it is only the 5th of November. This has the makings of a LONG winter

Play safe all.

Interesting stuff today, Scott. Susan must have been an illegal alien and probably got a patent on how to sneak in to our country, get some id to stay out of trouble and vote democratic. That was a long time ago and still going on - - no one can figure out where the border is and how to secure it in in 140 years. DUH................

Love the one about the parrot - - gotta tell you this one. My daughter raises birds which includes about 8 parrots along with cockateals, love birds, finches, I don't know what all is out in the aviary - - a lot. Animal control brings stuff like parrots and flying squirrels around to her place when they have no other place for them. About a year ago she got a beautiful African grey, very gentle, loves being on your shoulder. It's owner was a quite aged man and had died. Every time someone in the room stands up, the bird makes the noise of passing gas. You can only guess what the elderly gentleman did when he stood up. Everyone in the room goes into histerics when it happens. Another one mimics the bark of the Yellow lab and jabbers continually.

NOw, you left us all in limbo about "getting rid of breakfast." All kinds of pictures came to mind, none of them good. Wish you wouldn't do that. .........

Sean - - that is horrible. 3 degrees in early NOV is rediculous. It was 68 low last night and made it 84 today. Gorgeous. Sorry about that - - hang in there - - only about 5 - 6 more months for warm weather. Repeat after me - - I CAN DO IT - - - I CAN DO IT - - - IT AIN'T COLD - - IT IS LOVELY OUT FOR A WALK. Here, I will accompany you (from my home via Skipe) - - - ......

Gabbed to long - - ph00 - - - bye.

yup, 8 lb cat is such a killer. she must feel better from a hurt paw. she brought me a vole later and another one today since I had a guest. she likes the dance we do: I praise her, enthusiastically; we walk to the bathroom to watch it 'swim' as she plays to grab it. flush, then she gets a treat. I have run out of treats. think small children might be next.....

great three days, put hot tub in basement for the winter and put backhoe on the tractor. gonna set up all the attachments on wood pallets in one line past the barn. separate some metal scrap, clear out the clutter behind the barn. my priority : put my bike back together but have not received the call that my tank n fenders are painted. forgetting where the parts go soon.

NEscot, hope you win a vacation someplace (except Alberta)
Top, energy and much health faxed to your fort.

two stop lights out on the way home added 30 minutes to my usual 45 minute commute... I hate traffic.

You keep talking about your bike - - you are making me jealous. Sold mine a few years ago after two close calls with people running red lights while I am sitting there waiting for the green - - luckily I was watching my rearview and ducked around the corner. Jerks.

Snowbirds? YEP, it has started. Just got a confirmation from a cousin in England that will be here on the 21st. This will be interesting - - have not seen him in 15 years. All my fathers family stayed in England except a sister who married a Canadian flyer during WW2. That is the extent of that side of my family on this side of the pond.

The blonde is requesting my presence to watch something on TV with her, so better go. See ya morrie.
