Sam the Shrew is dead---RIP
#991
With age comes the cage
Me thinks ol Bark had to barricade himself in the outhouse knowing the shrews would not find him there as they never use the place (that's what the fresh sheets are for)

Where oh where can poor Bark be
We're past post nine hundred ninty three!
Has Sammy finaly done Bark in?
Will Bark be able to dance again?
Have shrews run too oft across Barks toes?
And now his corpse do need dispose?
His long absence gills us all with fear,
That from Bark again we may never hear!
I think tho that Bark is alive and well,
But unable to post from within his cell!
Attempting to find out if someone was a girl,
Has landed our hero once more in jail!!
( or he's just been to dern busy to waste time on the internet)

Here we are, post nine nine nine
Listening to that poor Bark whine,
"I started this thing, and want it to die.
Who'll post the next rhyme, no not I.
Sam met his match in a washer load
Of sheets and bedding as I have told.
Lo and behold, he's resurected
The whole darned place is now infected.
He's romped and peed and pooed at will,
And made me think I'd go over the hill.
He's messing and running, wrecking my day,
Making me think gun's pointed the wrong way.
Where's that thought from, of suicice
I'll not do that, I'll turn the tide.
There's ways to cope, and I'll surely find them.
And post once more in the millenium."
Now as for me, I've watched this story
Messy and dirty and sometimes gory,
And wasted more time to address this matter
With poetry in iambic tetrameter.

We've passed the mark of a thousand posts
And Sam the Shrew is still a ghost
We've had our fun at Bsrks expense
And for Sams death made good recompense
We've rhymed and sang and told tall tales
Of shrewish antics and Barks travails
Sam a legend has become and will ever live in our hearts
But his pee has dryed and his poo is now no more than weak shrew farts
So let us leave Sam to his rest and trouble him no more
Till the day Bark once again comes dancing cross the floor
And finds anew a mouse or shrew
To cause him more distress
And so I say it's long past time
To give this thread a rest

Rest?
Nay never, for it will be time for Son of Sam...........
Actually, I am feeling fairly anxious, we haven't seen Bark for some time now, is anyone sure he doesn't have a laboratory deep under the cabin, where even now, he toils furiously creating FrankenShrew?
Somehow, Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein keeps popping in my mind.

They say 5/4 people are bad with fractions and math in general
