You guys are right, there probably are more but this one really didn't bug us too much.
Never had live ones in the house for the 16 years that we had the cats.
Guess I will set out one of the traps you guys recommend just to see what I catch.

However, I really hate it when you guys are right. Wife already saw a smaller one. Looks like the battle has begun.

My cats won't touch them. I think they learned that the short tailed shrew has a very painful venomous bite.
We get em with mouse traps baited with chunky peanut butter. They're pretty crafty and fast. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries.

Ummm, you might want to skip the magnum loads though. Probably just use the .38's unless we run into a real mean one.
