Just watched this video on streetfire, and it make me stop and think about how easy one of us could get hurt at the track , or the sled pull , so take it safe out there folks!

That is exactly why I formed OFSAR! Old Farts Against Street Racing!(do a search)

Every clip that you just showed was on a closed course! Emergency vehicles at the ready!

Imagine being on the street and emergency help being 20 minutes, minimum, away! Not to mention the other innocent people that you may hurt!!!

If you want to race take it to the track!!!

If this message reaches only one DTR member and keeps them alive then I have accomplished my goal!!

Let's be safe out there!!

The fun and thrill of racing is the danger of pushing the envelope. Racers understand this and accept the consequences. Street racers however put other people in danger unnecessarily.

Sorry JKM, due to the language and out of respect for the families of the lost, I pulled the link.

For those interested, the link was a video clip of several race related crashes, some of them fatal.

While all of the DTR staff wish for the safety of our members everyday on the road and especially at the tracks, we still can not allow a clip like that on a family site.

i've seen the video in question. wow. it made me lightheaded and sick. definately not something u would want younger children to watch.
