Happy aniversary heidi! The wife and I have our first aniversary on the 26th!
Evening everyone. Been busy with work, Dr stuff, and moving. The wife and had been looking for a new house for a while since the one we were renting's lease was coming to an end. Found one for less money per month, if I wasn't laid off for a year We would have bought a hause but we couldn't do that yet. Next year we should be in a good spot to buy. Moved alot of stuff to the new house the last few days, painted, and cleaned the carpets too. We should be all moved in and ready by the weekend. Gotta take some more stuff over after work for the next few days. Gotta go foran ultra sound on my kidney this week to find out if the pain I've been having is a stone or not.

hubby finally got his 'robotic vacuum cleaner' that he ordered some month s back. it actually learns the room and knows it's way back to the self charger. then it knows where it hasn't cleaned; tells you to change the filter/dust bin, and some other stuff. shoulda had the video on it when the cat came in....

2x some years ago actually i promised him he would never be bored. We did something fun. 20 minutes and back to a meeting place in a mall. each had to come back with something for the anniversary. just awesome day today.
didn't even bother with the Bills game, eric- glad you enjoyed yourself!

On this day in 1881 - Chester A. Arthur became the 21st president of the U.S. President James A. Garfield had died the day before.
1953 - Jimmy Stewart debuted on the radio western "The Six Shooter" on NBC.
1958 - Martin Luther King Jr. was stabbed in the chest at a New York City department store by an apparently deranged black woman.
1962 - James Meredith, a black student, was blocked from enrolling at the University of Mississippi by Governor Ross R. Barnett. Meredith was later admitted.
1977 - The first of the "boat people" arrived in San Francisco from Southeast Asia under a new U.S. resettlement program.
1982 - U.S. President Ronald Reagan announced that the U.S., France, and Italy were going to send peacekeeping troops back to Beirut.
1984 - "The Cosby Show" premiered on NBC-TV.
1991 - U.N. weapons inspectors left for Iraq in a renewed search for Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
1995 - AT&T announced that it would be splitting into three companies. The three companies were AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and NCR Corp.
