Cool Rubik's Cubes

Anyone have one. I have the standard 3x3 cube and this thing is fun. I've had it for a while. Took me about 3-4 weeks to figure it out and now I can solve it in under 5 minutes (2:37 is my best time so far). I have also solve the 2x2 cube, although that one is trickier.

Anyone else here into these things?

Doesn't puzzles like that loose they're appeal after you've figured out how to solve them? I have/had a rubix rings and some sort of logic lock, but never picked them back up after solving them a couple times. Never solved the cube

Nah, the cube has yet to get old. In fact, it has won me money once. A $5 bet that I couldn't do it in 5 minutes or less. Got $5 that day .

The cube took me about 3-4 weeks to figure it out, then about 2 more weeks honing the skills, and now I am very proficient with it. I haven't tried speed cubing yet.

the trick is not to solve it...but to do it under a 2 minutes, 2:30, 1 minute and so on.

and then, you start doing patterns. you can do some pretty cool checkboards & stuff.

better than cable TV, i say...
