mmmm hazelnut coffee- already weeded the garden, put the automatic hose on it for the next few weeks. those water jackets (plastic panels that you fill with water) really have prevented the frost from burning the maters, and they grow nicely. I will try to prune them as you say, want to put cucs in, had to wait until the soil was kinda warm (over 45). cat waited for the bear, on the steps like a stone statue.....good cat, kill!
matt, in a heartbeat i would walk the iguana out to do my garden chores, heheh might be fun for him. love fresh peas, can grow in cold but i just didn't find the seeds in time.
Canuck scotty- mmmm buffalo meat....manure on the garden sounds like it does it's job! 6 ft maters, wow. take care of the knee/legg issue. all three of them (you braggart).
getting busy again, selling vehicles for some fun bucks so getting them all pretty and issues resolved. want to read a book but that ain't happening...

Looking to make myself less visible now.
Greetings from wet soggy cold SCRATCHYEROWN.
Could even see snow tonight. Weather man is not real accurate...less then normal. 90% of the time they are 10% correct.
Thanks for the coffee. Working today...should be fun as I have three of the students working with me. The LEGG story should assist in keeping them wary of me.
No garden planting for another few days UP HERE.

ahem. I do believe I can find red lobster the restaurant. GPS for any town.
I DID go specifically(reservation and asked if they were low on lobster) to the Aussie place for steak and lobster special. we had to drive over an hour up there, when we got seated for our reservations they told us -no lobster-. We stood up to leave and the waitress brought the manager over, explaining our situation. we got free meals plus sides of scallops, dessert and coupons to come back for free meals for four people. and we didn't even care if they ran out...
so t rant even when there is no lobster, i do okay.
(Fiver gave me GPS locations of his favorite lobster place---about 20 miles off shore.) one of those bucket list things, grab a mudbug and have a clam bake right on the beach. me grabbing a lobster would be something you'd find in Finding Nemo movie stuff......
hubby starts work tuesday, got a call today.
gosh awful busy today, had to make a tool and jig to seperate a bearing on son's car. ended up with new bearing being pressed in at BIL machine shop 90 miles down in Elmira NY. we took tractor down there for them to use for the week. did all sorts of mechanical work and running for parts today, finally settled down to a good meal about 9:30PM. marinated steak tips, baked potato and salad. and a BEER! labatt's. shower and sleep-someone pay respects to Our Guys Over There on Watch!

I let the iguana eat the dandilion flowers and greens when he's outside. He loves to eat them! The vet said they are a good food for him as long as we don't use chemicals on the lawn. And I never use and chemicals or fertilizers so he's safe and happy!
Evening everyone. The wife and I helped move a friend today from Chicago to new apartment back in indiana. Had a good day, the move was easier than I thought it would be.
Made me a porterhouse and the wife a filet along with baked taters for dinner tonight. We ate good tonight! Just got done watching the Blackhawks game, they won 6-5 against the Flyers.
Having a few friends over tomorrow for a cook out.
