Realtor = stupid?
< beware...RANT MODE! >
so we are looking for a house, so we go to TREB.com and order the little book.
and WHY is the most prominent thing in the book a picture of the PERSON?
who GIVES a flying leap what they look like? you are going to spend a few hours with person, and live in the house for YEARS. can we please get more (and bigger) pictures of the houses?
well, anyways, the wife & I only get to get together and study the book after she gets off work, and all the places are closed, but one has a 1-800 number with "free recorded information"
notice the clear omission of the word "DETAILED" in the statement.
the foolish Realtor tells you her name 3 times in the recorded message, but the only info she gives is to read the TREB ad to you!!!!

arrrrrrgggg....that's outright abuse of the technology she paid good money for!
and the websites are worse! they have same 2 mile away shot of the house, with the TREB write up

it seems if a $600 apartment is worth the effort, and a realtor can make $6000 by riding you around to houses in his SUV, some realtor would put the effort into it. especially if he was the listing agent.
It's just freaking annoying to have 2/3rd s of the civilized world creating, refining, and implementing technology to make our lives easier, and these idiots will force me to drive up there to see the inside of a house.

Went throuhg the EXACT same thing this summer. My wife and I purchased a house and went through the same hassles. Good luck...
