I'm so old, my senior prom theme was fire, and we didn't have a history class yet. There was a dude that did his science fair project on the wheel.

hahaha, Who you callin' old, BOY!!???

I got my right front tooth knocked out about 10 years ago when I was about 35 playing softball. I got hit in the mouth from a foul tip, I am the catcher. I spit my tooth out on the ground, picked it up, put it in my pocket and tried to get the ump to let me continue playing. He said that spitting blood like that, he just couldn't let me keep going.

The dentist wanted to grind the 2 good teeth next to the missing one and put in a 3-tooth bridge. Well, at 35, I hadn't had ANY cavities, so grinding down 2 perfectly good teeth was out of the question.

I got one of the first implants available and no, my insurance didn't cover it. It cost me $1800 including the root canal!

Anyway, it is still going strong almost 12 years later.

my tooth was about $125. its just a plastic pop in kinda thing that is held in place against the top of my mouth.
I cant see spending much more than that on something cosmetic.

But have a good friend that is a dentist! Just repeating what he quotes from his patients. Most everything is cheaper around here than other places!
