Hoss, for a pocket pistol it will be hard to beat that little .380 you were looking at, especially if loaded with the Winchester Silvertips or CorBon's or Federal Hydroshocks, etc.etc. For big pistol fans, I like my .50 AE Desert Eagle pushing a 325 gr. at 1440 (I have chrongraphed this to be factual velocity), and with the weight and gas operation of this pistol, recoil is managable, but it is not wrist-breaking or any more uncomfortable than my S&amp;W 29 6&quot; .44 mag.

 

Just a wierd thought I've shot a .500 Lindbaugh but with 1 hand.A little tame I thought,as to the .50AE try it as a Encore more recoil then a Desert Eagle.Why not use a BFR as a 444 Marlin or 45-70? Then you have 5 shots.
