Question For My Gun Totin' Friends...
I'm considering the North American Arms .380 "Guardian" as a pocket carry gun for backup or those times when it's just hard to conceal a Glock 30. Does anyone have any experience with these little beauties??

This picture says it's new but it's really not. They've been around for a couple of years now...

The .380 is hard to beat when you want to be able to hide it easily. Kept mine in a leather "belly pouch" when going fishing, never know who you might meet up with at a deserted ramp when retrieving your boat alone after midnight. I like the black better than chrome though for stealth. Recently traded off a Colt .380, nice little gun.

I won't get it until I've heard some positive feedback on it and had a chance to shoot it myself. A lot of people recommend the little Keltec guns...but they just seem like toys to me. They're lightweight though...I'll give them that much.

I know that it isn't the most powerful cartridge out there. However, with that said, I feel that ANYTHING is better than NOTHING. If slipping a .380 in my pocket means I have that instead of not having anything because it wasn't convenient to wear my Glock 30 then I'll take the .380.

The main thing is that I want something small enough to easily conceal in a pocket holster. A .380 is the MINIMUM I would would go for self desfense...and there are a lot of good pocket guns in the .380 caliber.

With that said though, if I can find a .40 S&W or 9 MM in pocket gun I'll happily consider it.
