Question for the mechanics
Today I was asked to take a look at a 15 passenger Chev Express made on 06/06. Not sure if that makes it a 2006 or a 2007. The emergency brake light in the instrument panel does not come on when the brake is pushed down. When the key is turned on the light does come on for a few seconds, so presume that means that that bulb is OK. Looked under the panel in the area of the parking brake pedal, but cannot see a switch. Looked on the internet for a wiring diagram but all I can find is info on the brake lights which do not show the parking brake light.
Can somebody please either supply me with a parking brake wiring diagram or give me clue where I can find the parking brake switch or sensor that turns on the light in the panel?

Thanks. That is where I would have expected to see something. Maybe I am blind in one eye and can't see out the other. Next time I am out there, will take another look, this time with a bright light and a mirror.
BTW, this van is part of the fleet for a Christian orphanage.

Thank you very much. This is sort of what I expected. Does not look like much fun. Will tackle this job maybe on Tuesday and let you know what I found.
