Question for the Mechanics

I am trying to put a TBI 318 from a 90 fullsize van into my 89 Jeep Wrangler, and I was wondering what the Fuel pressure to the Throttle body is. Does anybody know?

I believe 12-15psi. Most all TBI were low pressure systems. My neighbor has a 318 in a cj, goes like crazy.

I think tim is right with those numbers. I had to check the fuel pressure on my brothers old dakota that had a 318 in it. Those numbers sound right.

That's good because then I can use an aftermarket fuel pump and not have to figure out a was to make the one in the van work.

With the engine running, you'll have 14-15 psi with the vacuum hose attached to the regulator. 18-20 with it unhooked.
