nope, not fishing anyhow. i supply most of the area with ice. every year it gets worse, like 5 years ago, the fishing was awesome, tons of people. the DEC has killed a lot of it, and early this season there was no water? where abouts are you going in the area. there are suppose to be large fish this year, but not as many. i know the resevoir was low, and NIMO messed something up too. i drove by the resevoir yesterday, and it was the lowest i've seen. the past 2 days of non stop rain have helped the old salmon river.....but i still think its not going to be that great of a year, its been dead so far. good luck, and hopefully some DEC guy doesn't nail you for somethign stupid.

I am heading up there at the begining of November for some steelhead fishing. I have never been before, but i am going with a buddy of mine that i went to college with. He has been many times before and he says the fishing is good. I am excited to go, i am hoping to catch some nice steelheads, and i am also looking forward to taking the Dodge on a nice road trip . Check out this website www.whitakers.com, they have updates on conditons everyday and they also have pictures of what people have caught

Gotta trade my St Croix in for another after the dog landed on it when I crashed the car. Contemplateing on building a 9'-6" sage this winter.

My Nephew and his buddy (21 year old kids) just left for Pulaski, NY about an hour ago. He'll be dressed in black w/ a tan pitbull on a harness.
