Angry proper maintenance on plastic bumpers, mirrors Etc.

I have tried everything to try to keep my mirrors, plastic on bumpers, tail gate cover etc conditioned. They keep getting a dry look to them like they are trying to fade already. Im kind of a clean freak and try to keep my truck looking as nice as possible but I need some advise on this problem. Thanks for anyones input.

Kansas I wouldn't put Armorall on anything! If it is new I wouldn't get a bottle of it around my truck! It bleaches out plastic. Use vaseline in brings out the color and protects.

Barry, agree about the Vaseline. One downside using it. It collects dust no matter how little you apply.

There is a product called "Back to Black" - works great on black plastic. Also, Ive found spray silicone to work good too.

You can also get chrome door handle covers that just stick on. I'm thinking about getting some.
As for the mirrors, I've got a nice coating of bugs on them to keep them from looking bad...

I dont know if this stuff is better or worse than armor all but it is called Stoners Trim Shine, I love the stuff, only thing is that it is used up quick, but it really brings out the colour nicely and lasts a really long time except when it gets wet. I will have to try the vaseline Idea. THanks.

You can order free samples of 303 Protectant from their website. I did and used on the interior of my wifes Rodeo. The Rodeo is 5 yrs old and I have never used any UV protectant in the interior. The 303 brought it back to life and it doesn't leave a greasy residue like Armor All.
Once my 32 oz bottle of 303 comes in I will try it on the exterior.
