I couldn't get the video to hook up for me. That happens from time to time over here.

Wish I could see it though ... actually, I'd like to sit in on one of his talks.

Wonderful speech, you can't help but admire the man for being straight forward and NOT giving up his values. Thank God we have a man in office right now that understands that politics be danged, sometimes you just have to do the right thing to protect America.

In the words of my buddy Hulk Hogan, "Right on Brother!".

They shut down most of the town for that thing when he came in via motorcade. I wish I could have gotten tickets, but they were given to students, faculty, and military (Fort Riley). It was nice to see the welcome that he received. Republicans are still welcome here in Kansas! My wife did see a few protesters. She took the kids she babysits to the Bramlage parking lot to see his helicopter take off. There were some people there with an American Flag, hung upside down, with some disparaging slogan written on it, IN FRONT OF ALL THOSE SOLDIERS!!! I guess it just goes to show, you can't keep the freaks out of anywhere anymore, not even the heartland. I think they may have been from KU!

.... but you know, as bad as that may seem to you ... it actually serves a positive purpose to the soldiers. They know that the results of what they are doing on a day-to-day basis is the reason that those people have the RIGHT to publicly display their opinions !! Of course, you won't see the soldiers doing the happy dance when the protesters show up ... but none the less it is a good thing.
