njoverkill has it correct.
SWR is NOT all it's cracked up to be. You can have a 1.1:1 swr and still not get out. You can have a very expensive radio and a cheap antenna, then you have a not so good signal. You can have an inexpensive radio and a good antenna and have an outstanding signal.
There are a lot of veriables.
If you want to do an install, let me know and we can try to set up some time to do it.
