That's one thing I have never understood peoples fascination with TP in the role of survival.

Evidently they think the whole world uses TP.......... Can't say I would relish your method, but I have plenty of rags and a stream to wash them in....

irocpractice....do you know something that the rest of us dont ? I know where your going with this but have nothing to add other than to read up on some of the different 'preppers' guide(s). I would think gold would be the one going up in price, but if for some reason you have to cash it in, what money is going to be any good anyways?

 

Gold is after everything else is taken care if............... Some folks prep more than others, and honestly, dragging 50 pound sacks of beans around with you isn't really a practical store of wealth.

I do not feel comfortable with the direction of our country in general.And I do not wish to become a refugee because of "an event" contrived or natural.So on a somewhat more positive note I am looking for ways to "cma".

 

Well, if the economy colapses, our money wont be worth anything , and if you have gold, what are you going to cash it in for.....money that isnt worth anything ?

Bartering for things that are needed will be the key, IMO

Also, IMO, we are only 3 days away from anarchy. Natural or otherwise, when it hits the fan, those somewhat prepared will have a better start on things than those city folk still expecting the government to provide for them
