oh well.

i do a summer cut - hold your hand up,
#4 guard on top (the four fingers)
#1 on side (the thumb)

i teach that to all the boys in church. young girls seem to like the clean cut look, and once the boys find out how low maintenance it is, they LOVE it

and a winter cut
#5
#2

i take 2 or 3 showers a day (before work, after gym at work, work at home, before go out /bunkie)

i can't imagine having to mess with it that many times if it was long. it's wipe a towel over it & go with the summer cut

Been cutting my own hair for over 10 years now, clippers, no guard. As close to being bald without using a razor

I went ahead and voted mil-spec. I keep mine buzzed with a #2 on the sides and a #3 or #4 on the top.

Reason? I ride a motorcycle (with helmet) 98% of the time I go anywhere, and im most always wearing a hat. No sense in having to worry about fixing the hair 10x a day.

I have been cutting my own hair for the past 6 months. Only trouble I ever have is touching up the back. Next time the g/f is helping out

#2 on top and 0s on the back ad sides. Been that way for 10years now.

I had really long hair untilI had to change a hydraulic pump on the 950 loader that died while stirring the pond at the sewage plant. I told myself throughout that job it was just grease dripping on me but as soon as I was done it was go burn the coveralls, shower and shave the hair.

Now I like the lack of maintainence and should I go bald there won't be much to lose.

Short, because twelve dollar clippers are cheaper than ten dollar hair cuts.

Heck yes. My clippers paid for themselves the first time I used them. After about 5 years we just had to get a new set. I opted for a much better Wahl brand clipper. Seems to work great. I love saving money.....

Genetically bald on top, shaved bald on the sides. I let it grow out once, someone said I looked like my dad must've before his hair turned white.
I have a nice smoothly domed head made for show. If it was chomed, I'd get first-place ribbons (it's so purty).

Up until three months ago my hair was half way down my back. Just got tired of it and now I shave it smooth. The wife says its like sleeping with someone new, from my angle it looks just the same

Been cutting my own hair for 12 years, throw the 3/8" attachment onto the clippers and have at it....quick, easy, cheap, low maintenance.

#1 all the way around. Use a mirror and your own hand to gauge how good/bad job your doing on the cut.

I prefer the traditional mullet. Seems like most folks know what to expect when they see it.
