Political Discussion Please Read
Ok guys, we're all set to go. I have created a website that I hope will be pleasing for those who wish to discuss politics, while allowing the DTR to remain on topic. Please check it out and post away. Tell your friends and hopefully we'll get some good discussion going quickly.
Remember though, rules are rules and we expect you to be respectful and courteous just like you all have been on this forum.
The new site?
http://www.all-politics.net
I have used part of our member list from the DTR so those of you who have been on the site in the past 180 days, and have at least 2 posts will be able to just log right in. It may make you change your password but that shouldn't be a big deal. Any users who haven't logged into DTR in the past 180 days or have 0 posts will have to re-register on the new site. The user databases are not permanently linked. That was too much of a hassle to accomplish because things like signatures would propagate across sites. Not a good thing when you want to put a political signature but you can't because it has all of your truck information.
I really hope you guys enjoy this and I hope it grows like the DTR. I think you guys had a great idea here and I think it'll take off. Keep in mind that political discussions related to our trucks and the automative industry are still appropriate here, especially as they relate to things like fuel prices, etc. We believe that it creates good discussion points.
So go for it!!! All-Politics.Net!

Good on ya, Jack. Looks like a win/win for all DTR members. Your workload has probably increased exponentially though .

I host some other things but I don't maintain them.
