plow for older dump truck

I'm looking around for an older dump truck for personal use. Found one real clean but no plow. 84 GMC 7000. Other than buying a brand new plow, how realistic is it to actually find something in decent shape to attach to this truck?
Welding and some mild fabrication is a resource available to me too.

thanks for your input!

you could probably find something... hit the city/state auctions and find one that has been used seasonally on the salt trucks...

Easy as pie and cheap too. I have an 86 F350 dump. This year I decided to et a plow for it. I picked up a Meyers with a rebuilt pump and everything needed for 600. I did have to make bracing for the bottom of the rack though. The guy tried telling me that it never had one. Obviously an idiot.

I actually had 50% of the parts needed for a 4 year old western setup, but it was way too expensive to go that route. New stuff = big bucks.

And now that I think about it, I have a rack for an 80's Chevy. Bought it for cheap, but it wasn't for a ford like the guy thought.
