Herb, we still love ya. It's easier just to hate everybody, like I do.
"Only problem with Liberals is they love the wrong things for the wrong reasons..."
Just kidding, heard that on the radio yesterday.

I'm a conservative and watch O'Reilly too.
I bet his audience is 50-50, libs vs. cons.
That network is killing their competition by a mile.
Scarbourgh Country on MSNBC has proven to be pretty good too.
Check it out!

Let me make this clear right now:
Don't even THINK about making this into a battle about politics, media liberal vs. conservative.
Keep in mind that this is a respectable thread meant to honor a fallen civillian who had the guts to do what was right.

Don't be sorry, I almost posted a rant too
Then I thought about it, and I thought well, this guy died bravely in hostile conditions, and we ought not politicize it. So no need to apologize. I almost did the same thing.

God bless the young man. Allah can keep the slime that ended his life.
Far too much concern for the treatment of the Iraqi prisoners in my opinion.
Where is the "global outrage" over our boy being beheaded and our soldiers being killed and drug through the streets of a country we are trying to help ??
(and doing it for a very measley salary considering what they are up against).
Bring on the MOAB's

Sounds like the investigation is progressing. I think there's a .50 cal round with a certain cleric's name on it. Bad enuff he wore a mask, now that he's been pointed out, he's crying about how the whole thing was fabricated.
My prayers also go to this man's family, as it does for all who are caught in conflict. His beheading was a spineless act by cowards, who believe they have to hide their faces to enact their methods - I have always believed that if you have to hide your face to do something, it must be the wrong thing.
Beheading is not new to the Arab world, nor Western Europe where Guillotines and axes were used a few hundred years ago. Let's face it: the battle between Good and evil has been around longer than Man, and isn't going away right away.. however, we as human beings have the power to choose between them. In every society, there are those who choose Good, and those who choose evil. Many Iraquis are glad we are there, but there radicals trying to sabotage that because they want evil - not good. Our prayers are the best thing we can do from here to support and help those who are knowingly risking their lives to make a difference, both military and civilian. Yes, some civilians are in it for the money, but there are many who are either volunteers or low-paid social workers that are still taking a huge risk to make a difference in a place that has been a real hell for its citizens. Keep the prayers always coming for them.
