Does anyone know what to use to clean the plastic dash gauge {clear} cover ..i guess someone when detailing it had gotten armorall on it and now it's spotty and doesn't come clean with anything i've tryed :-[..can hardly see the gauges

 

Try first with a mixture of dishwashing soap and water. Use only a damp soft rag. DO NOT use a paper towel, specially when dry. Then after it has dried, polish it with Pledge furniture polish. The ingrediant base in the Pledge helps to fill in the fine scratches. In fact Pledge works to polish ANY plastic including plastic lens' on glasses. Also works on aircraft windshields.

 

Novus makes a plastic cleaner and also makes a plastic polish. They are very effective products for clear acrylic and lexan.

Like Mexstan said, never use a paper towel. There are a variety of acrylic polishes out there, I use one called Plexus that I buy at the airport. It is sold as a windshield cleaner for airplanes. These products work best if you spray them on, then wait for them to dry before "polishing" them off.
