Peanut butter

My wife has got some help from my nephew in munching away the peanut butter I've got through this site.

This is the little critter munching away on the peanut butter when he isn't just buggering me to play with the truck

Well, so now I'm in need of some Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter.
I'd like to offer Austrian stuff in exchange.
If anybody could be so kind to arrange something please let me know by IM or reply here.

Thanks!

TPilaske: What's a shotglass?

Yesterday we baptised the little brother of the peanut butter guzzling monster (Peter) to the name Georg. (After George Foreman for his favourite pastime of boxing during pregnancy)
I don't wanna hear anything about grills on that one ;D

I'll PM the address ;D

Thanks!

Re:Peanut butter

Probe glass? Or something similar. In the states we call them shot glasses because they hold 1 oz of adult beverage. When I was stationed in Germany, we were told about these little shot glasses type glasses that you kept with you when you visited the vineyards in the countryside. You used the glasses to sample the wares and of course buy the wines. I know they're not called probe glasses but something sounding similar. Perhaps that is to what he is referring. And yes, I still have my small collection from Germany.

Re:Peanut butter

Oh well you meant "Probierglas". Since in Austria the vine drinkers are a little more serious than in Germany we do have them in 1/8th of a liter. You need the volume to let the vine breathe and smell the aroma.

Re:Peanut butter

Never mind! ;D

I don't drink vine, but everybody keeps telling me that the scent is very important.
If you like small glasses for adult beverages we do have a large variety of them here.

Re:Peanut butter

I just collect them. I never drink out of them! People get them for me from all over the world when they are on vacation...

Re:Peanut butter

Mostwanted: I think I can't be objective about my home country- I do like it, therefore I am still here.

A view from my kitchen window in the morning.

There is lots of great countryside in Austria. Many people do know Austria for the skiing resorts like Kitzbühel, St.Anton, Schladming etc. (Mostly because of the races on TV).
But there is much more to be seen in some valleys yet untouched by tourism. You see that the landscape shows the small signs of centuries of cultivation, and you can meet the folks there.

If anyone of you wants to come over just give me a holler! We'll set up a meeting then, I'd be glad to be of assistance.

Mostwanted, expect an IM ;D

What do you think about posting (or setting up links to) views from your house?
I think it would be interesting to see what everybody sees when he gets up in the morning
