PA Trip (weather reports please)

Flyin' into Pittsburgh on Friday then driving to Altoona to drop the wife off and then will be headed to Erie area (Girard) on day one. Picking the wife up the following Tuesday (Girard to Altoona and back, same day), then driving from Girard to Pittsburgh on Wednesday to fly back. Don't seem like much of a vacation, seems like I'll be driving too much (without my truck).
Anyone up there got any weather reports or construction areas to avoid? We take 22 from Pittsburgh to Altoona . Take 80 across to 79 for most of the Altoona-Girard route.
Hope there isn't a repeat of what happened this past weekend on 80 near the Ohio border
Can anyone give me a "No Snow Guarantee"?

Thanks,
~Rob

up twards Erie got alot of snow, they have a good bit in Altoona too...more on the way mid and late week...you can't ever trust the weather men around here, they never know...we were supposed to get hammered yesterday where I live and we got about 1/8" dusting....

bring plenty of warm things...being from Texas....

it was 4 degrees yesterday, before the windchill...and Erie and Altoona get colder than around me....

Thanks willysrule,
Already got the BIG suitcase for all the winter stuff we have to pack to go north in December. I'm from Erie and hate the snow, that's why I am in Texas. Somehow, the only time we end up going back home is in the winter months . Maybe I can talk my family into celebrating Christmas in July?

Looks like the snow will not be much of an issue, but it will be on the colder side for a Texan...

Just run 22 from Altoona to Pitts and back roads are clear. Crash on 80 was near PA/Ohio border, that is clear now also.
