Quick check in. Going into day 4, the stress is starting to set in on allot of folks. Listened to folks yelling at each other from half a block away yesterday. Sightseers are becoming a problem.

 

Not much going on yet Scott. Waiting on phone lines to be run for the equipment to be brought in. Still a lot of red tape interferance. Pretty high security here. A few co-horts could stand to be bumped with the sense-of-humor stick.

Greetings Scott, Rad, Red.
I spent some time outside last night securing items that have never blown away or moved before. The wind tried lifting our gazebo and succeeded. Tossed it into the new fence which in turn knocked the big gates loose and hit the neighbors garage. Got the roof off the gazebo, moved all the furniture out of the wind and woke up this morning to something that looks like a gazebo humping our gazebo.
It appears to be the neighbors deck. I will have to deal with that after work. I can see a couple of trees down up the road. Several of the political signs on people's lawns are gone too.
We have our federal election May 2. The political landscape here is changing and record numbers turned out for the early polling. NICE!

Time to adjust the Phoo00 content and clean the seat.

Nice to see all 37 off spring from the dragon and the seal are getting along and no longer fighting over Depends.

Slow day here, just sitting here missing the jeep blessing and trout opener. Rivers are blown out right now anyway.

 

Take the rest of the day off Don. Tell them Scott said it was ok. They'll understand, trust me!

Great day today. Started cutting out some body rot on my truck (salty roads= rusty fenders).

Moved on to digging up some Junipers and re-doing some landscaping.

Now it's time to fire up the grill and relax a bit. I'm spent.

Just got a text from my wife. The large RV gates are ruined. The wind caught them and ripped them apart.

I just do not understand it. We have sustained winds of 50 mph and gusts of over 65 and no warnings, not even accurate on a couple of the weather stations. Lots of damage here.

Nothing compared to the folks who are and have been hit by the stuff down south though.
About 1.5 hours SE of here they are in a blizzard and have received over a foot of snow.

Mother Nature is angry. I can't blame her either.

Enjoy the day folks. Taking my girls out for supper tonight and then I am watching UFC.

Checkin' in a bit late for duty tonight. Neighbor smoked some pork booty and shredded it up for dinner...... I'm stuffed and have to fight the eyelids for the rest of the night but I'm here.
