Since I´m a lot of hours ahead of you, and we get to open gifts on the 24th, I guess I´ll be the first of us to do that, for once I´m in the lead....

I just refreshed the coffee, and turned the flavour up a little, I didn´t touch the phoo though, I´m not sure fiverbob can take it...

Morning folks, Don nice to have you back! Don't listen to Scott, we did actually miss you!

Thanks for the well wish's on the LODD, I will be at the services with a bunch of our guys so DTR will be represented also. Matter of fact I need to get a DTR sticker for my helmet.

My week is now officially over, unless they call me back in. Getting things ready for tonight. The grand daughters new kitchen set is all put together so tomorrow her and grampa will cook the prime rib together. She loves to help. The Wife found the old "cookie shooter", (how many of you remember that thing?) I took it all apart for clean up and inspection, it looked good for 20+ years old. Put some new batteries in it and did a test run, worked just like new. My daughters had lots of fun with that when they were young so now my wife is like a little kid, she can not wait to use it with our grand daughter. Amazing how the simplest memories have the biggest impact. I am a very lucky and blessed man.

Morning all and a Merry Christams to the whole crew here. Y'all have been a real hoot to hang around with the last few months. Things are about to get busy here so I won't be doing more than a couple of fly-by's for the next couple of days. My sister, her DH and two little girls (5 and 7 yrs old) are coming for two days to spend Christmas in the country. We have a bunch of friends coming for Christmas dinner tonite too. Turkey goes in the oven in about an hour. I really love big dinner parties like this so it will be a hoot. The bonfire will be sparked up late afternoon (the sun sets here at 4:10 pm today) and one of the dads will be taking the kidlets for toboggan rides behind the quad.

Have a great time with friends and family. Like I said back at Thanksgiving, give them all a hug and let you know you love them.

They'll be a lot of Amesbury and Merrimac hats there I'm sure. Times like this I wish I was back there with them. Jimmy was a good guy and FF. He's going to be missed for sure.

I guess the people in the apartment were resetting circuit breakers multiple times after repeated trippings prior to the fire. Jimmy had just got his line placed and had called for water when the room flashed from what I'm being told. It could happen to any one of us.
