Good thing I'm an adventurous sort. The Glenn freeway wasn't bad except for dodging all the vehicles being blown around. The highway end of it were I live was entertaining to say the least. But, I made it home. The power went out and snowed a foot last night. Add that to the snow that didn't get plowed out of my driveway yesterday and,,,,nuts. After a few tries the old dog started so the wife and I started digging a ramp. Got to the end of the driveway only to find a tree. Though out the chain saw. Well, made it to work about an hour and a half late. The boss asked what took you with a grin on his face. I told him the dog ate my alarm clock and I had to wait for him to poo so I could turn it off. Sense the wife can't get out I'm gunna have to go grocery shopping tonight. Yuck!

Just took a quicktrip to WallyWorld. It wasn't too crazy yet. Just old timers so the place was moving pretty slow. Picked up a Rubik's cube and Scrabble for us. This family will workout their brains whether they like it or not.

Morning. Frustrated today. Stepson downloaded a virus onto the laptop and the recovery isn't going well. I bought new disks for this thing in the past, put them in the computer bag. Just found out this morning that the wife loaned the bag to her nephew so it'll be MIA forever. She claims she has the disks. I asked about all the cables and extras that were in the bag, all I got was silence. I'm not happy!

 

Her mouth was silent, her brain was cursing.


Hope the laptop recovery gets better. I can still feel the frustration of the blue screen of death from earlier this year. The death of a laptop is never an enjoyable experience no matter the killer.

 

Thanks Shorts, I'll get ahead of the virus sooner or later. I just hate having to spend the time when it was all preventable. As far as her brain cussing, she's just mad because she got caught giving away something that didn't belong to her.

I dunno why you'd think it tastes any different from any other day... I use the same grounds for at least 10 days. When I start to notice some of it missing, I just add more.
