Anyone ever use one of these? I need to program the keyless fob on the wifes 2006 Sonata. This year you have to do it with the computer system somehow. Previous years all have a switch to put the reseiver into a learn mode. If you can actually make changes with one of these I'll get it cause it'll be about the same as taking it to a dealer.

99% sure that no off the shelf code reader will be able to program anything.

All they can do is read and possibly erase codes.

You need the Dealer only scantool to do any programming, especially with a 2006 model.

Yup. Most of those tools will just check for codes. To do any sort of programming of keys, modules, etc, etc.; you need a Scantron tool of some sort; which are thousands and thousands of dollars that only dealers generally have.
