Not again

Well it happened yet again. Just got an email from some ebay guy looking to buy a silver nokia that I'm apparently selling now. This is the second time this has happened. First time they managed to get $400 back (which I won that case but now the buyer is claiming it was a legit sale so I'm fighting that now). Can't do that this time as ebay has my old bank account and credit card number and my paypal account is locked down completely. Not even I can access it. Yall keep an eye out on your stuff.

Cin you don't know the half of it. The last couple of weeks have not been very good weeks at all in any part of my life.

Bnold, if only I could use the words to express the feelings that I have for these types of people.

I've had to deal with a few ebay scams myself...

When I owned my last vehicle I was going through a regear and only recieved half of the parts from a manufacturer... After a month of calling I finally called USAA and told them the scoop... They told me hmmm ok you will have all of the money back by the end of the day!! Worked out great, but man What A PITA!! So I got my front third member for free well minus a months worth of long distance phone calls...

E-bay called me a few weeks ago and said that someone had my account number from my credit card and had opened a few new accounts. (loud, screaching brake sounds) I dropped what I was doing and sped to the bank. There were 4 charges pending for over 5k, and something else weird that the bank could not explain. Nothing came of it, except a $5 fee for a new card. Small price to pay for peace of mind...

Sorry that you did not get out so lucky, blue. Want me to get them?

ME Two. Well actually it's a separate bank account/Debit Card. So they can't even charge anything against it. I also use it for any phone or internet transactions outside of PayPal. The only thing at risk is the $100 minimum balance so I don't pay any service fees. On your credit card they could run it up to your limit.

I recently sold an imaginary Cub Cadet lawn tractor, 4 laptops and a cell phone all from my home in Great Britain. Took 2 months to straighten out. I removed all bank and credit card info from Ebay. Also closed PayPal about a year ago when they threatened to shut it down for purchasing 2 30rd SKS magazines which they claimed were "illegal to sell, manufacture and possess", almost a year after the sunset of the Assault Weapons Ban.

Well ebay figured it out and shut the auctions down. I swear, all I wanna do is lead a nice normal life and then these sorry sap suckers come along and jack with everything because they weren't beat enough as a little kid to realize that stealing is wrong.
